Researchers : Reem Mohsen Khalaf, Dr. Rahim Jamil Muheisen, Dr. Hatem Ahmed Jassem and Dr. Eman Ali Saeed in the College of Pharmacy have published a paper entitled (Synthesize and Characterization of New Polydimethylsiloxane Derivatives with Evaluation of Biological Activities) In the Indian Journal :International journal of Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences, which has an impact factor of 0.4, and included within Scopes index .  The research included preparing complexes of charge transmission spectra between lipid antagonists and some pressure drugs, where these compounds were identified. The effect of acidity function, concentration and time on the formation of complexes was also studied. Ester complexes from these two types of treatment were also prepared.
The clinical study showed the effect of taking the two treatments together by patients suffering from blood pressure and hyperlipidemia, and showed what  interactions that might occur due to them .
