College of Pharmacy Organizes a Workshop on the "Women's Affairs Division: Objectives and Strategy"
The College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Women's Affairs Division at the University of Basrah, organized a specialized workshop titled "Women's Affairs Division: Objectives and Strategy." The session aimed to define the division's goals, operational mechanisms, and strategic plans for the empowerment of university women.
The workshop featured lectures delivered by Assistant Lecturer Wafaa Hassaj Al-Mayahi and Assistant Lecturer Rawnak Thamer. The presentations introduced the Women's Empowerment Division, outlining its core objectives, clarifying its workflow, and detailing the strategies upon which it bases its prospective annual plans.
Additionally, the event provided a thorough explanation of the official communications and ministerial directives that shape the division's organizational structure and its administrative and technical affiliations. The presenters discussed the national plans the division is committed to executing and its future aspirations within the University of Basrah. Emphasis was heavily placed on the division's relentless pursuit to serve and develop university women across various fields, with a special focus on the female academic faculty and staff of the College of Pharmacy.
