Within the university's policy of community service...the College of Pharmacy organizes a charity market to support the elderly and some families in need.

The Student Activities Unit at the College of Pharmacy organized the annual charity market under the slogan (Hope Makers) to support the elderly and some needy families and included various products from the contributions of students and college professors.
The Student Activities Officer, Professor Dr. Sanaa Jawad Al-Mayah, stated: We organized the charity market with the cooperation of professors and students of the College of Pharmacy, because such activities represent social solidarity and solidarity in providing material and moral support to this important segment. It also enhances community awareness and raises the students’ human values ​​towards their society in addition to their profession. 
Al-Mayah added: The market included exhibitions of books, drawing, handicrafts, types of natural drinks, types of food, perfumes, bags, accessories, and agricultural nurseries, in addition to musical performances and laser printing on various materials, where many goods and products were sold at nominal prices as an expression of support for the elderly and families in need.
