The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah held a workshop entitled (Methodological steps to obtain accreditation).
The aim of the workshop is to clarify the most important methodological steps that must be followed to obtain accreditation, which includes five essential points: educational workshops on accreditation standards, self-reporting, developing and completing an improvement plan, and then a conformity report.
The workshop included a lecture given by lecturer Rana Hassan Shamkhi, which included how to write a self-report in detail and with clear steps, given that the time frame for its completion is short. It explained the details of the self-report, which begins with the structure of the dean’s office and the staffing of the units and divisions affiliated with the dean in terms of job grade and courses, then the office of the administrative assistant dean in all its units. Of the staff and their information, as well as the office of the Associate Dean of Science and its affiliated units. Then the branches begin with the historical overview of the branch, the mission, goals, vision, and detailed information about the teaching staff, graduate studies, curricula, service methods, lectures, and everything related to the branch.
