Pharmacy Faculty Member Participates in International Workshop on Academic Writing Strategies and Standards
Professor Dr. (Falah Hassan Shari), a distinguished faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, participated in the international workshop on "Academic Writing" to enhance scientific publishing efficiency and research output quality.
The workshop facilitated high-level discussions regarding the ideal standards for academic writing, dynamically highlighting the clear distinction between scientific discourse and journalistic or fictional styles. The training program underscored the structural characteristics and attributes that identify academic publications, which researchers must strictly observe to guarantee the fulfillment of desired scientific goals and foster credible knowledge accumulation.
Scientific deliberations significantly emphasized "Audience Centrality" in academic writing, as content is meticulously directed toward a specialized and specific audience.
