Publication of a Specialized Scientific Book by College of Pharmacy Faculty on Hormonal Control Center Balance
A group of distinguished professors from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah has published a reference scientific book titled "Balancing the Control Center: Pituitary Gland Function - Exploring Pituitary Harmony: The Key to Hormonal Balance," serving as a modern academic reference in the field of clinical laboratory sciences.
The book was co-authored by Professor Dr. (Falah Hassan Shary), Assistant Professor Dr. (Gibran Khalil Hassan), Assistant Professor Dr. (Ghassan Salah Ahmed), Professor Dr. (Qutaiba Abdulkarim Qasim), and Assistant Professor Dr. (Uday Sajjad). It comprises (295) pages distributed across six precise specialized chapters.
This publication highlights the pivotal role of the brain's control center and the pituitary gland in regulating hormonal secretions through complex biological mechanisms. It also provides a detailed explanation of the role of the "Master Gland" (Pituitary) and its expertise in leading glandular balance within the human body, enriching the Iraqi medical library with a robust scientific work that contributes to academic and clinical understanding.
