A faculty member at the College of Pharmacy participates in a workshop on sustainable development

Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Shri, participated in the workshop organized by the World Health Organization, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the International Federation for Emergency Medicine.
The workshop included lectures that highlighted the goals of sustainable development and the importance of good governance to achieve development goals, including universal health coverage. Sustainable development requires improving living conditions for all individuals without increasing the use of natural resources beyond what the planet can bear. Sustainable development takes place in three main areas: economic growth, conservation of natural resources, the environment and social development.
