The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on the effect of lipoic acid
The seminar included a lecture delivered by pharmacist Dr. Rawsan Sabri Al-Eidani, in which she demonstrated a study of the effect of lipoic acid supplements on the level of sugar and blood fat levels in infected rats, where the results showed a significant decrease in the level of sugar and fats in the blood.
As well as a positive effect on the level of liver enzymes and antioxidant enzymes.
