The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah discussed the Master's thesis presented by the researcher Fatima Amer Hassan, titled: "Examination and Evaluation of Osteoporosis Biomarkers among Smokers in Basrah, Iraq."

The study involved a comprehensive analysis of 200 men from Basrah, measuring serum levels of various biomarkers (BALP, PTH, 25OHD, IL-6, OC, DKK-1, OPG, and RANKL) using the advanced ELISA technique.
