Over 100 Iraqi Universities and Colleges Achieve Competitive Ranks in Webometrics World Ranking 2023

 

Iraqi educational institutions have marked a significant presence in the H2 2023 edition, competing among 31,000 global universities based on Visibility (50%), Transparency (10%), and Research Excellence (40%) indicators.

Top Performing Iraqi Universities:

The University of Baghdad secured position (1571) globally, followed by Diyala, Mustansiriyah, Al-Qadisiyah, Mosul, Kufa, Technological, Babylon, and Anbar. Numerous other public and private colleges were also verified by the official ranking authority under the Superior Council for Scientific Research in Spain.
