The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized the first conference to discuss graduation research for its students.
Where the research discussed several axes in the specialty of pharmacy, including the pharmaceutical industry, analysis of pharmaceutical dosage forms, measurement of drug effectiveness and toxicity, study of the effect of chemical changes on pharmaceutical compounds, study the extraction of some pharmacologically active substances from plants and evaluate them in laboratory and biology, as well as clinical studies as well as laboratory research, which represents one of the graduation requirements for fifth stage students.
Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Najm said: The number of researches was (70) research that was evaluated by a central scientific committee, and then six research papers were selected that were presented in the form of lectures and others that were presented in the form of scientific posters in the corridors of scientific branches and were explained by the students participating in the research and evaluated on site by the scientific committees and each according to his specialization.
