The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Branch organized a scientific seminar reviewing the synthesis and characterization of pyrimidine and 2-oxo-pyridine derivatives, focusing on their potent antimicrobial and anticancer bioactivities.

The study evaluated antimicrobial efficacy against Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus, Gram-negative Escherichia coli, and the parasite E. granulosus (Hydatid cysts).
