A faculty member at the College of Pharmacy writes a book on spectral analyzes

A book entitled (Spectral Analysis of Organic Compounds, Foundations and Applications) was published by the University of Basrah Press. For the Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Jassim Abbas at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah.
The book, consisting of (355) pages and seven chapters, each chapter dealt with a specific spectroscopy to analyse organic compounds. The first chapter included ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, the second chapter included infrared spectroscopy, the third chapter included nuclear magnetic resonance, the fourth chapter included mass spectrum, the fifth chapter contained microscope techniques such as light, thermal and electron microscopy, the sixth chapter included fluorescence spectroscopy and the last chapter included X-rays. The book reviewed the foundations on which spectroscopy is built and how radiation deals with matter to give useful synthetic information about compounds as well as the applications of each technology in different life aspects. The book also contained some solved and unsolved exercises.
