Dean of Pharmacy Participates in Regional Workshop on Plant Health Technologies and Food Security

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shri, attended a specialized regional workshop titled "Plant Health Technologies in Plant Propagation and Distribution: Roles in Enhancing Food Security." The event was organized by the Plant Protection Department at the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah, in collaboration with the Arab Plant Protection Society.

The workshop featured intellectual sessions focused on the strategic importance of plant health and the implementation of rigorous agricultural quarantine measures. Experts highlighted the necessity of monitoring invasive pests and discussed modern global management strategies to mitigate agricultural losses, ultimately supporting regional food stability and biosecurity.
