Faculty Member at the College of Pharmacy Receives a Certificate of Appreciation from the World Health Organization (WHO)

 

Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Jasim Abbas, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the World Health Organization (WHO). This honor comes in recognition of her active participation in the workshop titled: "Fundamentals of Risk Communication in the Context of Routine Vaccinations in Iraq."

The volunteer and training workshop featured prominent participation from students of the medical group at the University of Basrah. Its primary objective was to spread cultural and health awareness among the public, heavily emphasizing the absolute necessity of receiving routine vaccinations to prevent and combat severe diseases.
