Scientific Participation in a Workshop on the Fundamentals of Gas Chromatography at Thi Qar University

Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Nasser Al-Salman, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, participated in a specialized workshop titled "Fundamentals of Gas Chromatography". The event was organized by the Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture and Marshes, University of Thi Qar, in academic cooperation with the College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Al-Salman's participation involved delivering an in-depth lecture detailing the components and working mechanisms of (GC) and (GC-MASS) instruments, outlining their operational pros and cons. Furthermore, the lecture presented a wide spectrum of laboratory applications for these devices across multiple vital fields. This included the organic chemical diagnosis of various compounds, precise pharmaceutical analyses of drugs and plant extracts, and their effective applications in the industrial, agricultural, and medical sectors.
