Professor Falah Hassan Sharee, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, participated in the fourth international scientific conference for pharmacy at Al-Mustansiriya University, and the second with the American University in Baghdad, which was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Abudi, and under the supervision of Professor Hamid Fadel Al-Tamimi and the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Munther Faisal Mahdi. The conference was organized by the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustansiriya University, in collaboration with the American University in Baghdad, and was titled "Innovations in Pharmaceutical Scientific Research: A Renewed Project" and was held on Wednesday, the third of May, in collaboration with the American University in Baghdad. The conference was opened with a speech by the President of the American University in Baghdad, who praised the confident steps taken by the College in bridging the communication gap between the College and the American University, which has a clear and significant impact on the development of academic and pharmaceutical work. The honorable Assistant President of Al-Mustansiriya University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Al-Husseini, also delivered a speech congratulating the College of Pharmacy at both universities for convening this scientific conference, which represents the actual start towards joint and fruitful scientific cooperation that will meet the aspirations of both sides in elevating and building a common scientific work foundation and effectively contribute to raising the academic quality of the university. The honorable President of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Mustafa Al-Hiti, praised the efforts of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustansiriya University and its diligent efforts to hold scientific conferences with world universities, for its great importance in developing pharmaceutical work in Iraq and working hard to raise the level of graduating pharmacists and their scientific competence. Afterwards, the participants, researchers, and postgraduate students delivered their scientific lectures and research, which enriched the conference with useful and scientific information that will benefit the community.
