The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, participated in the Fourth International Scientific Conference of Mustansiriyah Pharmacy and the Second in cooperation with the American University in Baghdad. The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, themed "Innovations in Pharmaceutical Scientific Research: A Renewed Project" in early May.
The opening ceremony featured official speeches from the organizing universities' leadership, emphasizing the importance of building academic bridges to advance pharmaceutical work. The President of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Iraq, Dr. Mustafa Al-Hiti, praised the institutional efforts in hosting international conferences that effectively enhance the competence of pharmaceutical staff to meet global standards.
The conference included a series of scientific lectures and specialized research presented by a group of distinguished researchers and post-graduate students, focusing on the latest drug innovations and research techniques aimed at serving society and improving healthcare systems.
