The University of Basrah expands the roads of Karmat Ali complex to alleviate traffic congestion during official working hours.

One of the most important projects for this year has been completed by the engineering and technical staff at the University of Basrah, under the intensive efforts, guidance, and follow-up of the President of the University, Dr. Saad Shahin Hamadi. The project involves expanding the roads from the Bani Skien area to the new gate of the University of Basrah (Karmat Ali complex), by widening and paving the road and organizing it in a correct traffic manner to alleviate the congestion and traffic jam during official working hours in the Karmat Ali complex. This work is one of the largest projects accomplished by the university this year, which will relieve a lot of burdens on the movement of cars and their smooth entry into the campus. The teaching staff and students have praised this achievement and commended the university's management for its prompt response to address the congestion problem at the university entrances. Therefore, the university is implementing vital service projects and infrastructure that serve both university staff and citizens alike. Meanwhile, citizens have praised this step and described it as a crucial service to the Basra community.
