The Student Activities Unit at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a field visit to the Al-Noor Institute for the Blind.
The head of the unit, Prof. Dr. Sana Jawad Al-Mayah, stated: We organized the visit within the initiatives of the College of Pharmacy to serve the community and the activity of the unit, where we collected donations from the professors and students of the college and organized the visit, accompanied by a delegation of professors and students of the College of Pharmacy.
Al-Mayah added: We have distributed gifts to blind children, in addition to equipping the institute with an integrated pharmacy, complete with medical supplies, a blood pressure monitor, a glucose test device, antipyretic adhesives, masks for children, gauze, some necessary medicines for children, and other first aid supplies.
