Members of the Student Activities Unit at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a field visit to the Al-Noor Institute for the Blind in Basra, with the participation of professors and students of the college.
Prof. Dr. Sana Jawad Al-Mayah, in charge of the unit, stated: We made a field visit with professors and students of the college to see the academic reality of the institute, and we listened to the requirements of the institute and what blind students need in order to complete their studies and achieve scientific excellence.
Mayah added: The institute needs a lot of academic requirements for this important segment of society, and we, as an educational institution, will try to consolidate the spirit of cooperation through frequent visits to such an important segment of society, as it is our humanitarian role before the educational one.
