The Vice President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Falah Hasan Shri, hosted the delegation of the French Embassy.
Shri stated We received the French delegation, where the two sides discussed a mechanism for scientific cooperation between the faculties of arts and faculties of agriculture to cooperate in the management of agriculture and water, in addition to activating the French language in the Faculty of Arts and expanding its culture as an important international language. The two sides also agreed to host the deans of the faculties of the University of Basrah to Paris in early April to see the universities in France and the mechanism of development therein.
Shri added: During the meeting, we were keen to expand the mechanism of cooperation to include the medical and pharmaceutical aspects, as they are two important aspects of the life of the individual and society.
For their part, the French delegation welcomed the conclusion of the agreement and the building of cooperation mechanisms between the two countries in the scientific aspect to serve the community.
