Visited a team from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ola Muhammad Nour Al-Musawi, Head of the Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants Department.
Al-Moussawi stated: We visited with the postgraduate student, Omaima Saddam, the College of Science at the University of Baghdad to see some herbaceous samples and their geographical distribution, which are related to the research studies of the student Omaima, including the bramble plant.
Al-Moussawi added: The geographical distribution of some medicinal plants was also discussed with Dr. Israa, the official of the herbarium, and how to obtain them, especially the bramble plant, and how to benefit from it in the master's thesis project.
After that, we visited the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad, and we met with the staff of the Pharmacognosy Branch there, and several issues were discussed, including scientific cooperation regarding the projects of postgraduate students at the University of Basrah and the University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy.
