A delegation from the College of Pharmacy visits the Bahr al-Najaf depression to collect medicinal plants

 A delegation headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ola Muhammad Nour Al-Musawi, Head of the Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants department at the College of Pharmacy, visited;  Bahr al-Najaf area to collect medicinal plants.
 Al-Moussawi stated: We visited the depression of the Sea of ​​Najaf, myself and the graduate student, Omaima Saddam, to collect medicinal plants, and in cooperation with the College of Education, Department of Life Sciences at the University of Kufa, with Dr. Ruqaya the teacher at the University of Kufa, where medicinal plants were collected, including the bramble plant, which is the subject of study for the student Omaima, to conduct research on it from various regions. Other plants were also collected, including rue, where we took its seeds and leaves, as well as the brocade plant, which is a succulent medicinal plant, and the ephedra plant, from which the narcotic ephedrine is extracted, which is used to manufacture medicines.
