A faculty member at the College of Pharmacy participates in the membership of a doctoral dissertation discussion committee in Baghdad

Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Najm participated in the discussion committee of the doctoral thesis tagged (formulation and evaluation in vitro and in vivo of rosuvastatin calcium as nanofibers) by the student Ihsan Ali Muhammad from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad
The study aimed to increase the solubility and enhance the dissolution of the class II anti-hyperlipidemic drug rosuvastatin calcium (RC) - poorly soluble in water - by formulating it as rosuvastatin calcium nanofibers (RC-NFs) and as rosuvastatin calcium cyclodextrin complex nanofibers (RCDNFs).  ) using the electrospinning technique.
