A delegation from the College of Pharmacy visits the border areas to collect data on plants

 A delegation from the Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants department at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ola Muhammad Nour Al-Moussawi, Head of the Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants Department and Assistant Professor Yasar Abdul-Hassan;  visited the Abu Al-Khasib / Siba / Seyhan area and the border strip with the State of Iran.

 Al-Moussawi indicated: We made a scientific trip to collect medicinal plants that are unique to this region and compare the presence of these plants during the previous years, where we collected a database by asking residents of these areas to find out the types of medicinal plants commonly used and the effect of salinity and desertification on medicinal plants in them, such as sorrel and bramble.  And Shafallah, As-Suwayda and Karnoub.
