Lecturer Ahmed Abdul-Karim Abdul-Abbas Al-Saad, Lecturer Dr. Haider Abdul-Karim Al-Wafi, the assistant professor Ahmed Sami Abdul-Jabbar and the assistant lecturer Suhair Mortada Ashour at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah published a paper entitled (Preparation of rosuvastatine pills quickly dissolved in the mouth and comparing its evaluation with pills available in the market) in the journal
Indian journal of pharmaceutical negative sresult with an impact factor of 0.13 and within the fourth quarter of Scopus containers
The research included the preparation of nine samples of the drug rosuvastatin in the form of fast-dissolving tablets in the mouth using different types of superdisintegrant such as croscarmellose and crospovidone
And comparing the evaluation in the laboratory with each other, as well as with the pills available in the pharmaceutical market of different companies.
The study concluded that the solubility of rosuvastatin, which has little water solubility, increased by manufacturing it in the form of fast-dissolving tablets in water.

The aim of the research was to increase the effectiveness of rosuvastatin used to treat hyperlipidemia by increasing its solubility and bioavailability.
