A faculty member at the College of Pharmacy participates in an international conference in Turkey

 Assistant Professor Dr. Iman Ali Saeed participated in the international conference organized by Istanbul Gedik University in Turkey and in cooperation with the Turkish Remar Academy in Istanbul, under the title (The Sixth International Scientific Conference for Pure, Applied and Technological Sciences)
 Where Dr. Iman participated in a scientific article entitled
 COVID-19 : mini review on the pandemic virus, immunological aspects and bacterial co-infections
 The article included a study on the role of the immune system in confronting the Corona virus, the role of the immune response generated against it, and the different mechanisms that the immune system pursues with its different cells to protect or resist the body against infection.
 This article also focused on the role of herd immunity, Herd immunity, in order for the community to achieve immunity against the virus by taking the vaccine. It also addressed the bacterial infections of the respiratory system accompanying infection with this virus and the most important bacterial causes for that.
