Dr. Muntaha Abdul Hamid Nasser, a teacher at the Faculty of Pharmacy, published a paper (toxoplasmosis and risk factors between Female medical group students at University of Basrah, Iraq, in biomedical and pharmacology journal Indian with an impact factor of 0.20 and within the Scopus Thomson Reuters classification the research included a study on the gondi arcs Which is a major public health concern because it affects a lot of people in the world. However, medically, Rarely cause a serious illness. The current study was conducted on university students in Basrah province to estimate the prevalence of the disease Toxoplasmosis and risk factors. This is the first time such a research has been carried out in Basrah governorate where samples have been obtained Bloody of 177 women. Participants were between nineteen and twenty-four years old and samples were examined for Participants were also given questionnaires to identify risk factors. The average age of participants 21.24 years old, most of them ranged in age between twenty-two and twenty-four years. Differences between animal contact The age tested positive for toxoplasmosis was not statistically significant among the only 177 participants, About 1.13% of them were tested positive for igm anti-arcant which is considered a recent infection while 20 were detected them with antibodies positive to IgG as a previous infection. The only variable that had a positive association with a positive test was Contact with the soil (garden at home) was the level of importance of the association was less than 0.05.
