Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

The World Health Organization (WHO) provided the University of Basrah with the raw materials needed to produce the Coronavirus transport medium (VTM).

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, stated that the raw materials for producing the transport medium represent support for the research team at the University of Basrah, in order to continue meeting the needs of the governorates for this important medium to combat the Coronavirus pandemic.

For his part, the research team at the University of Basrah commended the efforts of Dr. Awatif Al-Iqabi, the WHO representative in Basrah, who followed up on this achievement and spared no effort in serving the city of Basrah and supporting scientific research to protect the community and rid it of this epidemic.
