Instructors Dr. Ghassan Salah Ahmed and Dr. Falah Hasan Sheri at the College of Pharmacy published a paper entitled (β-sitosterol augment antihyperlipidemic effect in hyperlipidemic rats induced by Triton) In the Japanese journal :Yonago acta medica, with ian impact factor of 1.7 and in Scopes index. The research included the investigation of the effectiveness of beta-cytosterol and measuring the levels of fat and sugar in rats, and it was found that the level of sugar and blood fats in rats improved after administering beta-cytosterol.
