With exceptional efforts by the staff of the medical group at the University of Basrah, a new batch of viral transport media for the Coronavirus was prepared today in the laboratories of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah.

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, stated: "The number of transport media reached (100) viral transport media, which were delivered to the Public Health Laboratory at Basrah General Hospital."

Shari continued: "We will work on developing and producing other quantities of viral transport media until the end of the crisis, God willing, to facilitate the work of medical staff in diagnosis."
