A faculty member at the College of Pharmacy participates in a workshop organized by the United Nations Children's Fund

 Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Hadi, an assistant professor at the College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah participated in a workshop organized by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on the plan to develop the education sector in Basra Governorate.
 Dr. Ali stated: The workshop included several axes, including the obstacles to the underdevelopment of the knowledgeable and the spread of illiteracy in Iraq, and discussing ways to solve these obstacles by increasing the number of school buildings by owning land in the governorate center, in addition to developing educational cadres by holding workshops and courses that qualify them to  To rise in the reality of education and modern methods of creating a conscious, educated generation that serves the country, as well as engaging them in higher studies to be fully aware of the progress of advanced and modern education and equipping educational cadres with electronic devices for education and self-development for them.  The workshop also discussed allocating ground buildings for the education of people with special needs and focusing on the role of parents in communicating with educational cadres to discuss the most important issues the student faces during his studies and an attempt to solve them in cooperation from both sides.
 Hadi added: The College of Pharmacy also presented a proposal during the workshop to have mobile teams from the college’s cadres throughout Basrah in order to educate students about public health in order to preserve their safety.
