The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah has launched a social media channel via the Telegram application to provide medical consultations to citizens electronically.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, stated that modern technology has become an important backbone in life and the only means of communication between people under these circumstances. Out of bearing our ethical responsibilities, we receive people's inquiries and questions via the Telegram channel, and we provide advice, guidance, and awareness to overcome this crisis that has afflicted the entire world.

He continued: "The initiative was well-received by citizens, who expressed their gratitude to the specialized staff in our college, who continue to work day and night to provide accurate health awareness to all citizens."
