A faculty member at the College of Pharmacy participates in an international competition for inventions and innovations

 The teaching staff at the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Iman Ali Saeed, participated in the international exhibition and competition for Iraqi inventions, innovations and creations, which was organized in the Kurdistan region by the International Nobel Institute and in cooperation with the French International Center for Scientists and Inventors. The participation included a patent for Dr. Iman for the extraction and purification of the Shiga-like 2 toxin isolated from the hemorrhagic Escherichia coli serotype O157:H7 and the study of its histological effects for the first time in Iraq: as an initial step for the treatment of bloody diarrhea in children, where the pure Shiga 2 toxin can be used.  -like toxin2) in the production of the toxoid attenuated toxin and its use as an anti-toxoid vaccine produced by the hemorrhagic Escherichia coli bacterium, thus treating cases of bloody diarrhea resulting from infection with the bacteria in question.
