The instructor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah Assistant Professor Dr. Zuhair Ghaleb Al-Shaheen, obtained a certificate of participation in the training workshop (How to diagnose predatory journals according to internationally approved standards), which was included in the Ministry’s scientific supervision and evaluation authority 
  The workshop included a detailed explanation about identifying predatory, fictitious and hijacked journals based on the websites approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The mechanism for calculating the Hersh coefficient, as well as clarifying the sobriety of different scientific journals around the world and their importance for evaluating research and how to determine it and the mechanism for its approval
