Two female lecturers at the College of Pharmacy publish a scientific article in the Iraqi National Medical Journal

 The two female lecturers at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, the lecturer Zainab Najm Abdul-Nabi and the lecturer Nour Kazem Jawad, published a scientific article entitled (The Role of Glutathione as a Shortening Agent in Skin Whitening) in the Iraqi National Medical Journal.

 The article included a follow-up to clinical studies that included the use of glutathione for skin whitening in its various pharmaceutical forms, as glutathione is considered an antioxidant and is present inside the cells of the human body.
 The objective of the article is to compare the efficiency of different pharmaceutical preparations for glutathione as a skin bleach in adults in clinical studies for the time period to March 2020 to reveal the efficiency of glutathione in its different pharmaceutical forms in whitening the skin and is it safe to use on the skin because it is inside cells and has anti-oxidant properties and is considered a factor  To whiten or lighten the skin, as it counteracts the process of formation of melanin, the pigment responsible for the color of the skin, and makes it move towards the formation of pheomelanin, which is responsible for the light color of the skin.
