University of Basrah  held a scientific symposium about the basis of academic work .
College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah held a symposium (Scientific Research is the Basis of Academic Work), the second scientific symposium within a series of  symposia that aim to introduce the researchers of the college . The symposium included several presentations by the members of academic staff. Through these presentations the lecturers presented their scientific activities ØŒscientific experiences and publications .This activity aims to keep contact and communications among the researchers to open different fields of collaboration that allow to achieve important and effective scientific researches.Furthermore this activity
stimulates development of scientific research in the college .The academic participants were of various disciplines and specializations such as pharmaceutical sciences , health science and biological sciences. The symposium recommended the necessity of cooperation and collaborations of researchers in order to develop the reality of scientific research in the college in a way that may serve the society and the country .
