The College of Pharmacy holds a panel discussion on Vitamins (A and K) in the treatment of joints and bones

The Clinical Pharmacy Department of the College of Pharmacy at Basrah University held a panel discussion entitled (The Role of Vitamins A and K in Joint Diseases and Bone Pain), with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The seminar included a lecture given by Assistant Professor Dr. Gibran Khalil Hassan, in which he explained the forms of vitamins A and K, the sources of their availability in food and their beneficial effects on the body. In addition to its new uses in the treatment of many diseases, including the role of vitamin K in reducing the incidence of atherosclerosis and other diseases, especially pneumonia and pain reduction, as well as the role of vitamin A and its derivatives as Lutein in relieving bone pain in joint disease.
