Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a seminar titled "The Use of Enzymes as a Treatment to Control Diabetes," in a lecture presented by Dr. Jubran Khalil Hassan.

The seminar included a review of new theories regarding the occurrence of diabetes and its complications, such as the Glucose Toxicity theory and the role of multifunctional antioxidants in reducing the progression of diabetes.

The seminar also demonstrated the possibility of using enzymes that play a role in sugar and energy metabolism, as well as digestion processes, to control diabetes symptoms, alongside reviewing the latest research in this field.
