Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a training course on Microsoft Excel, presented by lecturer Ahmed Abdul-Ilah and lecturer Walaa Nassif for the college's staff.
The course included an explanation of Microsoft Office Excel, a program from the office software suite that performs calculations, analyzes information, and represents data in tables. It also processes and supports various functions, as well as databases and charts, as the program displays a worksheet consisting of rows and columns.
The course also provided an introduction to the program, its most important features and components, how to run it, the types of data used in it, and how to edit them. It also covered how to create and format electronic spreadsheets, and explained all the important and most frequently used operations in the program, such as copying, moving, pasting, creating, opening, and saving new workbooks, in addition to deleting, clearing, sorting, and searching. Furthermore, it demonstrated how to write mathematical formulas within the program to perform arithmetic and logical operations, and explained the most important mathematical functions and charts, detailing how to insert and format them to illustrate data graphically.
