Doctors from college pf pharmacy : Dr. Ulaa Mohamed Nour Al-Mousawi, Dr. Mazen Nazem of the College of Pharmacy, and the researcher : Raafat Mohamed Abdullah published a paper entitled (Phytochemical screening by using TLC and GC-MS methods for qualitative determination of compounds in ammi visnagal).The journal:India's Plant archives have an Impact Factor of 0.2 and within Scopus index . The research included extracting and purifying the khalein substance from the devilish plant, Ammi visnaga L, which grows in northern Iraq, where the plant was collected from the Sulaymaniyah governorate and in cooperation with Dr. Sahar Rashid from the University of Sulaymaniyah Where vinegar was extracted by succulite and then purified using TLC technology, the percentage of substances in the extract was measured by a GCMS device, where the percentage of vinegar was higher than the rest of the materials, and it is common to use this plant for many pathological conditions such as kidney stones, respiratory diseases and angina as diuretics and topically used for psoriasis and vitiligo.
