University of Basrah held a seminar about the irritable bowel. 
Pharmacy College at the University of Basrah  presented a seminar entitled(Irritable Bowel Syndrome )by the lecturer Heba Dawood AbdulWahab . The lecture clarified the signs and symptoms of the disease . The disease is characterized by different disorders in the activities of the digestive system such as diarrhea, constipation and abdominal pain, usually repeated when psychological and neurological disorders occur. The lecture also showed the ways to treat the symptoms by using useful bacteria, eating fruits and vegetables containing fiber, and avoid eating legumes that  may result in abdominal pain.
