Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a seminar titled "Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)," in a lecture presented by Dr. Hiba Dawood Abdul Wahab.

The seminar included an explanation of the disease and its symptoms, including disturbances in digestive functions that typically range between diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain. These symptoms often recur during psychological and nervous disorders.

The seminar also explained how to treat this disease and alleviate its symptoms by using beneficial bacteria (Probiotics), consuming fiber-rich fruits and vegetables, and avoiding legumes that cause abdominal pain.
