On the sidelines of the meeting of the Deans’ Committee of the Colleges of Pharmacy with the Captain of Iraqi Pharmacists, Prof. Mustafa Al-Hiti, the Shield of Excellence and Creativity was gifted by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shri, on the occasion of his assumption of the position of Captain of Iraq’s Pharmacists Syndicate for the second consecutive session, where matters related to the profession of pharmacy were discussed. The mechanism of increasing numbers and how to develop solutions to address and discuss the laws of practicing the profession and the law of the union and how to update the curricula and place these laws within curricula taught to students of the completed stages of education, as well as the mechanism of updating curricula to suit the labor market in Iraq.
