Assistant Professor Hussain Nasser Al-Salman participated in the scientific forum held by the Indian University of Mandsor on type 2 diabetes and its relationship to COVID-19.  With the participation of researchers and specialists The forum included a detailed explanation about the extent of the immune response of patients with type 2 diabetes when they get infected with a viral infection, as influenza and Covid-19 infection can lead to an immune response, and this relationship may explain the increased risk of death for people with diabetes due to the virus.
