Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, held a seminar titled "Modern Theories of Depression and Discussions Around It." The lecture was delivered by Dr. Manal Abdul Khaliq.

The seminar addressed modern theories about depression, such as the relationship between depression and the lack or excess of food, postpartum depression, and depression associated with cancer and chronic diseases. It also included a discussion of these theories and presented the latest anticipated solutions for treating them.

The seminar aimed to explain modern theories, break out of the shell of old theories, introduce recent developments, and keep pace with new solutions that meet the requirements of modern treatment.
