university of basrah  has held a seminar about (The theories of depression ).

Pharmacology and Toxicology Department College of Pharmacy has held a seminar entitled (Modern theories about depression and whole about it ) presented by Dr. Manal Abdul Khaliq. 
The seminar illustrated the modern theories about depression  and the relationship of depression to the lack or increase of weight due to disturbing in the eating habits .It also discussed the different kinds if depression such as depression of mother after the birth and the depression because of cancer and other chronic diseases.  The bases and reasons were discussed to put forward the latest solutions expected to treat them. The study aimed to show modern theories and get out of the theories of old theories and put forward new and keep up-with new solutions that suit the requirements of modern treatment.
