The College of Pharmacy at the university of Basrah participated in the awareness campaign organized by the Awareness Media Department in the Ministry of Health, (University Health Department ) The  Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Falah Hasan Sharri said: In order to create a health and awareness culture, we participated in an awareness lecture in addition to a speech to outline what University of Basrah presented during the Corona pandemic through the production of the Corona virus carrier, (PCR kit), hand sanitizers, medical alcohol and chlorine A ventilator, active screening platform, and home quarantine platform We also discussed during the speech the university’s role in raising awareness against disease through the participation of professors in electronic lectures, designing educational posters about how the epidemic spreads, prevention and treatment, and publishing in all social media. For its part, the Ministerial Committee for Health and Environment praised the role of University of Basrah  in confronting the epidemic and assigning ministries and health departments in the governorates and providing them with the transport medium.
