Zainab Najm, the assistant lecturer at the College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah​​​​​​​, participated in the scientific symposium (The Negative Aspects of Modern Communication Devices and Social Media) with the participation of researchers and specialists. The symposium held by the College of Pharmacy included several lectures by professors and specialists  They dealt with several axes, including the extent to which mobile electronic devices are used, the psychological and social effects of these technologies, as well as social media in adolescence, and how they may affect psychological health and the formation of an individual’s personality after puberty. They also dealt with the psychological and social effects of the Internet user that may reach addiction and dealt in addition to clarifying piracy and theft.
