College of Pharmacy Discusses the Design of Inhibitors for Kinase Enzyme

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah discussed the Master's thesis presented by the student Karrar Talib Awwad Hanish, titled: "Design and Synthesis of Molecular Filters Containing Amines to Improve Kinase Inhibition."

The study involved the synthesis of new Thiourea-derived compounds to evaluate their effectiveness as inhibitors for the CDK-2 enzyme, alongside studying their cytotoxic activity on selected cancer cells for potential therapeutic use.
