College of Pharmacy Organizes its Annual Festival "By Experiment We Learn" Under the Slogan "The Little Researcher"
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah systematically organized its annual scientific festival distinguished as 'By Experiment We Learn,' operating proudly under the slogan 'The Little Researcher'. The festival explicitly featured hosting scholars from the High School for Distinguished Students to observe numerous innovative scientific experiments meticulously prepared by third-stage pharmacy students, principally aimed at significantly enriching theoretical knowledge and reinforcing practical scientific concepts.
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Gibran Khalil Hassan, conclusively elucidated that the festival encompassed the flawless presentation of approximately 24 diverse scientific experiments comprehensively spanning the disciplines of chemistry, physics, and biology. The reception protocol was methodically organized by strategically dividing the visiting distinguished students into scientific cohorts, sequentially evaluating the College's rigorous laboratories to directly and safely observe the interactive experiments specifically curated for them.
The Dean further articulated that the strategic objective behind instituting such sophisticated academic activities is to persistently cultivate awareness regarding the formidable scientific eminence of the College of Pharmacy among exceptional high school students. Additionally, it fundamentally seeks to fortify sustained, active communication to serve various societal demographics concurrently, robustly embedding an imperative culture of applied scientific research starting unequivocally from an early educational stage.
