The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Gibran Khalil Hassan, visited the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ferdowsi University and Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in the Iranian Republic
Dr. Gibran stated: Based on the cooperation agreement between the University of Basrah, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, and Ferdowsi University, previously signed by the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and within a delegation from the University of Basrah, we visited the two universities to complete the scientific contracts. We also visited the College of Pharmacy at Ferdowsi University and looked at the The college’s laboratories and halls, its scientific capabilities, its teaching staff, its students, and its academic system.
He added: We also met with members of the Council of the College of Pharmacy at Ferdowsi University to discuss ways of cooperation between the two colleges and to establish the basic points for a joint scientific cooperation mechanism. We also discussed the possibility of conducting advanced research laboratory tests between the two colleges and the exchange of graduate students in the field of research and scientific publishing, and because the College of Pharmacy is at Ferdowsi University It is ranked 301 in the Shanghai classification and is ranked second after Tehran Medical University.
